Start with one specific thought

Write an observation, a truthful experience or a question you could answer yourself. Keep sources with the draft when you use figures or someone else’s statement. A question at the end should build on the post, not replace its point.

Move a Threads draft into the calendar

Check the selected account and the options available through the current connection.

  1. Choose the Threads account and write the main point.
  2. Add relevant media and review the preview and usage rights.
  3. For several posts, decide whether you need separate posts or a connected reply chain.
  4. Choose a time, then check the actual publication status.

An example conversation starter

An illustrative example for a design team: “We reduced our review request to one question: what still needs to change before publication? Which question saves your team a follow-up?” Only use an experience like this if it is true for your own work.

Separate scheduled posts are not automatically a reply chain

Check the supported workflow before preparing a longer sequence. If a required feature is only available inside Threads, complete that part there. Do not assume that several scheduled times create connected replies.

Keep working after the scheduled time

A scheduled status is not confirmation of publication. If something fails, read the cause, check the account and material, and inspect the platform before trying again. The calendar cannot take the place of responding to a conversation.
