From recording to a clip you would post.

  1. 1

    Upload your recording

Start with your own video file. Twitch is optional. The upload screen shows the available size and format limits before you start.

  2. 2

    Find and review moments

Describe what you are looking for or start from a timestamp. Review each suggestion in context and adjust its beginning and end.

  3. 3

    Make the video yours

Choose a layout, check captions and create the finished clip. Download it or prepare a post in your planner.

Moment search is being rolled out gradually. If it is not available in your account yet, you can mark moments yourself.

The facecam gets room. The game stays readable.

Start with the quick editor. Open the extra settings when you want to fine-tune a clip.

Frame the action
Crop gameplay separately from your facecam. Zoom in on what matters and check which parts of the HUD remain visible.
Set the words and the style
Correct captions, move them and change their colours and font. Add a short title or a profile label when the clip needs it.
Keep your next clip consistent
Save your style as a template. An optional outro gives the clip a short ending using your own video.

Use your Twitch clips and markers.

Connect your channel under Accounts. Bring existing Twitch clips into Impulio and use recording details to identify the right stream.

With the necessary Twitch permission, read your stream markers and match them to the uploaded recording. They give you a place to start looking.

Whole Twitch recordings are not downloaded automatically. For this workflow, upload the original file yourself.

Before you upload

Can I upload a long stream?

The recording workflow supports large files using uploads in parts. Your account’s available storage, maximum file size and supported formats are shown before upload. Keep the original on your device until the upload is complete.

What happens to the original?

Large original recordings remain available for 7 days after processing. The expiry is shown in the editor. Finished clips stay in your media library; keep your own copy of the original if you need it later.

Can I use moment search yet?

Moment search is being rolled out gradually. If it is not available in your account yet, you can mark moments yourself.

Will I get a fixed number of clips?

No. A quiet stream and a stream full of highlights need different cuts. Review the suggestions, discard weak ones and add any moments you already know are worth keeping.

How is analysis charged?

The analysis price is shown in Voltis before you confirm. Editing a saved moment and changing its layout do not start another analysis.
