Plan a content series
Plan recurring formats as a series, not as single posts
You run a fixed format like weekly tips, a podcast clip series or a behind-the-scenes rubric. In Impulio you set it up once as a series. Episode numbers, the fixed calendar slot and the template for the next episode are then already in place.

Why series content slips through the cracks
Every episode from scratch
You retype format, topic and hashtags every week. That takes time and lets small inconsistencies creep in.
The order gets muddled
Which episode was the last one, which number comes next. Run a few formats at once and the thread is easily lost.
Tools only plan single posts
Many planners treat each post in isolation. A format that returns week after week stays pure manual work.
How Impulio plans a whole series
Set up the series once
You define topic and format once. The episodes share that basis, and new episodes keep counting up automatically.
A fixed slot in the calendar
Set a recurring time, for example every Tuesday. For upcoming episodes, placeholder cards appear in the calendar so the rhythm stays visible.
Next episode in one tap
One tap on next episode opens the editor and pre-fills it from the series template, including the episode number. You only adjust the content.

Single posts or a series as a whole
Buffer and Later usually plan single posts. You create each post separately, even when it is always the same format. In Impulio you plan the format itself: as a series with running episode numbers, a recurring slot and a template that each new episode grows from. The recurring format is the unit, not the individual post.

Common questions about content series
How does the automatic episode numbering work
Each new episode of a series gets the next running number. When you create the next episode, Impulio counts up from the highest number so far, so the order stays correct.
What are the placeholder cards in the calendar
When your series has a recurring slot, for example every Tuesday, the calendar shows placeholder cards for upcoming episodes. That way you see the planned rhythm before you actually work out the posts.
What does the template for the next episode carry over
The tap on next episode opens the editor and fills it from the series template. The caption template, hashtags and the next episode number are set, and you adjust the content yourself.
Plan your format as a series
Set up your first content series, choose the recurring slot and create the next episode from the template. Ready in a few minutes.
